ONE WATER CYCLE: The Power of Kelp

Project Description

In this course, students learn about how kelp plants survive and their benefits to marine ecosystems and humans. They meet an Aquaculture Farmer and learn about the kelp harvest and how kelp can be grown as a food source. Students engineer vertical gardens and create poetry to raise awareness about the benefits of kelp. They produce an eBook of their poetry to share with their community as a way to introduce the power of kelp into their lives.
