SeaWorld adding new bathroom system to save water

Sea World is now incorporating saltwater into its restrooms to help conserve water.

SeaWorld is doing its part to conserve water during California’s drought with a concept you may have never seen or heard of — saltwater restrooms.

What starts out as seawater in Mission Bay has been filtered, chlorinated and pumped into Shamu Stadium for years, so SeaWorld figured, why not tap into that same system to help fight the drought?
