Environment Massachusetts: Kids for Renewables

We can power our lives with 100 percent renewable energy from sources like the sun and the wind. Your kids can help!

Our Kids for Renewables project is a four-part web series designed for kids aged 6-10 years old to learn what renewable energy is, why it is important, and how we can do our part to help go 100 percent renewable.

Each week, children will be guided along the way with characters such as Emma Energy, Sally Solar and Wally Wind, who will break down topics such as how solar power works and why energy efficiency is important. Each animated lesson is accompanied by a step-by-step demonstration of a hands-on activity so that kids can learn about how renewable energy works in their own lives.
